Access to Guidelines

The Historic Zoning Board has prepared a comprehensive document outlining most aspects of building preservation.  These guidelines are written in accordance with those sanctioned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Park Service Technical Preservation Service.  Extensive guidelines designed to aid in the appropriate care of historic buildings can be found online from both of these organizations.
